Get to Know Us

We are a purpose-built centre specifically designed by the architect to ensure that a beautiful, comfortable, secure, and functional environment surrounds each child. We provide educational and developmental experiences for children aged six weeks to five years.

A ‘Noriter’ comes from the Korean word ‘playground’. We offer play-based learning opportunities that focus on diversity, relationships and creativity! Our curriculum is based on the Victorian Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.

We are a small family operated business that focuses on building a strong community. Noriter Bilingual Early Learning is much more than an early learning centre.  We are a community of families and educators who come together to share our love of language, culture, learning, and play with our children so that gives them the best chance to meet their fullest potential in their early years. We highly value family involvement within our centre events and the children’s learning journey at Noriter.

We welcome you to contact the centre to meet our team and learn more.

Our
Mission

Our mission is to provide a nurturing, stimulating and fun playground where children, their families and educators feel safe, make memories, and enjoy a sense of belonging.

Our Curriculum

The curriculum at Noriter is play-based, child-initiated and guided by the Victorian Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards. We are inspired by the educational philosophy of Reggio Emilia, where the children are to be seen as capable, strong individuals who have a unique way of being expressive.

We value creativity, imagination, and curiosity as these skills are essential for the children to develop critical thinking, decision-making, visualisation, and empathy and promote a lifelong learning attitude. Therefore, children at Noriter are provided authentic art, music and drama program that encourage their creative process of exploration, and they participate in meaningful & open discussions with their peers and educators.

Funded Kindergarten Program

Our funded Kindergarten provides various programs such as Language & Literacy, Mathematical Learning, Creative and Expressive Arts, Music and Movement, Sustainability Practices, Community celebrations, Science & Technology, Self-help practices and Mental health and well-being, which are aligned with Victorian Early Years Learning Framework.

The program is flexible and will give your child a voice in their learning and development. Your child will be our co-planner, sharing ideas and questions that drive their learning. Our Kinder teachers will plan experiences for your child that focus on specific skills in an engaging and meaningful way to support their growing skills and knowledge.

Kindergarten Program

What is Kindergarten?

In Victoria, preschool or kindergarten is the year before school entry and funding is provided to kindergartens by the Department of Education and Training (DET). Children are eligible to attend one funded kindergarten program if they turn 4 years of age on or before 30 April in the year of attendance.

Noriter offers a three- and four-year-old kindergarten program with a Bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teacher, and our programs are government-approved.
